"To conquer the world in 21 steps"

"In no time the entire audience was theirs. There was no way, even if
you wanted to, around their sincerity, vulnerability and belief in their
own ability. I noticed that I was being overpowered by emotions:
tears were coming down my face. There are only very few concerts
at which I cried. This was really awesome."

Bazz (singer of VanKatoen, Musicmaker, Jan'09)

21 Eyes of Ruby (21EoR) are restless, determined and have a mind of their own. Antoine 'TuWann' Pütz (vocals/guitars), Martijn Soeterbroek (drums) and Alex van Damme (bass) play alternative rock in the mindset of Smashing Pumpkins, Porcupine Tree, Tool and The Mars Volta.

21 Eyes of Ruby's long awaited new album Conquer The World pt.5 will be released on September 21st 2010. This is part 5 of the somewhat sarcastically titled 'Conquer The World'-series of 21 parts. The CD will be distributed in the Benelux by Dying Giraffe and Munich/V2.

Earlier this year the band released the online EP The Sharks EP on their own label Summer Kimono Records, which is still available for free as a download on their website. Off this EP, the tracks 'The Sharks Bite Fast' and 'Mama's Heart' are used in the Dutch horrormovie 'Harteloos' (Heartless). Musicfrom reviewed: 'Unsurpassed Dutch top quality!'

In 2009, Conquer The World pt.4 gained many enthousiastic responses by the national press: 'Unique Dutch band' (OOR), 'Amazing rock music on its highest level' (FRET), 'above all, just great' (Musicmaker), 'A gift for the Dutch alternative rock scene' (Festivalinfo)

Previously, 21 Eyes of Ruby released Conquer The World pt.1 (2006) and Conquer The World pt. 2&3 (2007).

21 Eyes of Ruby played live shows at Bospop, Progpower Europe, Bevrijdingsfestival Limburg and PLAY (Be). The band supported Dredg in the Melkweg, The Spirit That Guides Us and Intwine. 'This band deserves to be big and famous.' (3voor12) '21 Eyes of Ruby rise high above the other bands when it comes down to technique, dedication and originality.' (Musicfrom.nl)

Singles 'Couldronemo' and '9Friends' got airplay at radio stations 3FM and KinkFM. The band played several times live on 3FM radio.
